Travel & Transportation

Flights

• If you do NOT have an WRC Travel Award, you must book your flights independently for this bootcamp. Please make arrangements with your PI.
• If you have an WRC Travel Grant, you flight will be covered - please make flight arrangements as directed by the WRC conference team. You may need to update your flight arrangements to extend the time you’ll be in Boston to attend this workshop. The form for flight requests: https://forms.gle/VTxv86sQ54kxoZ5P7

Please plan to fly into BOS on Sunday 1/23 and fly out Wednesday 1/26 (no earlier than 3PM) or if you are staying through the conference, then after 6PM on Friday 2/28

Ground Transit

To and from airport: Public Transportation

There is decent public transportation from the airport to the hotel (Boston Marriott Cambridge). This is likely your best option. Use the Silver Line (an underground bus) and Red Line to minimize walking. The Blue Line and Red Line will also get you there, with a bit of walking to make the connection.

To and from airport: Uber/Lyft

Should you choose to Uber/Lyft from the airport to the hotel, consider trying to coordinate with others to share ubers. Here’s a place where you can report your arrival and departure times. Please update this table if your flight time changes. In a pinch, don’t hesitate to reach out on Slack too.

If you’d like to meet up on Sunday after arriving, please reach out on Slack to coordinate!
